Violinist Edgar Gabriel is one of the hardest working musicians in Chicago, performing frequently at top private and corporate functions. Edgar Gabriel plays in theater productions and touring orchestras, including Mannheim Steamroller and Plant/Page. He can be heard playing high tea at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago with pianist Jimmy Griffin during the holiday season, and is often requested to perform for church, country club and many other hotel events. He has provided music for dignitaries including: President Clinton and Vice President Gore, Mayor Richard M. Daley, Senator Patrick Fitzgerald, Govenor Jim Edgar, Cardinal Bernadin and Cardinal George. Classically trained on the violin, Edgar plays many styles including jazz, rock, pop, country, Latin, klezmer and folk. The combination of two decades of professional experience and the talented muscians with who he works allows him to provide live music of the highest caliber. |
